With our fleet of forestry mulchers, Oregon Land Maintenance and Reclamation provide mowing, land clearing, and other equipment services all over the state of Oregon, for many types of ground projects. We have multiple attachments for our CTL's to complete different tasks, a small excavator, and are looking to add more equipment as we grow. We have access to larger land clearing equipment for larger projects if the need arises. Forestry mulching land clearing services can be done year-round but as the temps climb and summer comes into full swing, some land clearing projects become tougher to do, because of the increase of fire danger.
By using a forestry mulcher to do land clearing, OLMR is able to preserve the integrity of the land. Important nutrients are returned back into the soil, clearing your land keeps it looking aesthetically pleasing, and it keeps Oregon and your home safe from fire and invasive species.

Fire Fuel Reduction
Fire Fuel Reduction is when underbrush is left, wildfires can grow larger and stronger. This means it's more difficult for firefighters to contain the fire as they'll have a harder time getting the flames out before they spread into other nearby forests or wooded areas. When this happens fires will burn hotter with bigger amounts of fuel in their path - so not only do we see an increase in size during these situations but also increasing speed too!
Fence Line Clearing
The sound of the electric mower is a familiar one in most backyards. But this handy around the house tool wasn't made to tackle some of the land clearing services your land could be needing. Repairing, replacing, and maintaining your fence line can be frustrating and time consuming. Many times this frustration arises due to overgrown black berries or other invasive species that have grown on the fences throughout years of neglectful maintenance; these plants cannot only hinder plant growth but also prevent people from accessing areas they should be able to.
Field Mowing.
In the spring, many people are tempted to get out and enjoy a nice day outside. One great way of getting some fresh air is by taking care of your lawn or garden with field mowing services in order to promote new grass growth and keep fire danger down. Cities want tall grass kept away from neighborhoods for safety reasons as well as aesthetically pleasing views - which can be achieved through proper field mowing!
Disaster & Storm Clean Up.
The cleanup after a storm or disaster can be daunting to say the least. Depending on the severity you might need multiple different attacks on land clearing. With floods, fires and storms in mind, it is always important that you have equipment on hand as well as personnel with experience who know how to tackle this type of mess.
Orchard Removal and Clean Up.
Old orchards are a threat to produce an abundant harvest. These trees may have been diseased for years, damaged by mother nature's wrath in the form of damaging storms and winds; they could be too old and not productive enough to justify their removal from land that can grow new crops better suited for future harvests.
Stump Removal.
Stump removal can be done in many different ways. They can be removed with an excavator, which requires the removal and replacement of dirt but leaves a stump behind. Stumps are also grinded up using attachments that remove it back to 8-16" below grade depending on attachment.
Driveway Maintenance & Grading.
Whether you live far back off the road with a long winding driveway, or you're sitting right on the road, no one wants to drive on rough gravel.
One of the most tedious and time-consuming tasks for homeowners is driveway maintenance. It's not just about keeping it smooth, but also making sure there are no washboard or rough patches that can be a hazard to drivers coming in off the highway.
Invasive Species Management.
Blackberries may be a yummy treat, but they are also a major problem in the Oregon and they're extremely invasive. There's other types of species besides blackberries that fall into this category, too; Hawthorne, Scotch Broom, Juniper and Ivy can be just as harmful if left uncontrolled because these plants take large pieces of property over.
Tree Thinning.
Tree thinning is another land clearing service that goes hand in hand with orchard removal. Like you, your trees need room to breathe. When your trees grow too close together, it causes them to compete for nutrients and doesn't allow them to grow to their full capacity. Trees are often thinned to keep them from growing too close together, but theres a whole range of reasons why this is necessary.
Timber Slash Cleanup.
Logging slash is often left on site as part of this process, but it can create an increased fire risk and also has been known to cause erosion problems due to its difficult-to-break down nature. Now more than ever loggers have turned towards land clearing and forestry services such as mulching to break down and clean up logging slash. This offers landowners cost effective ways keep their property safe while keeping forests healthy by reducing potential fuel for destructive fires!
